Raptor wildlife ambassadors
Raptors are meat eating birds such as eagles, hawks, owls, falcons, osprey, kites and harriers. These birds have special adaptations for hunting and killing prey including keen eyesight, a hooked beak and strong feet with sharp talons. Many birds in our collection can not fly due to wing damage. Permanent wing injuries are commonly caused when birds fly into cars or power lines.
